I was on a date last night (2nd date), and it was going really, really well until she mentioned her grandmother is a psychic. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but she went on to mention that the name of the guy she was going to marry (according to psychic grandma) started with an "S". There is no "S" anywhere in any of my given names. And apparently Psychic Grandma has always been right about her predictions.

Sometime in the afternoon, the internet stopped working. After some checking around, I found out that the AC adapter (the plug) for the wireless router was busted. Easy fix, if you've got a spare AC converter, which a lot of electronics use. But when I tried to find one in the store, it doesn't exist! I tried Best Buy, Tigerdirect, and Future Shop. A universal AC adaptor is a specialty part, which costs almost as much as a new router itself.
